2022 Indigenous Disability and Wellness Gathering

The 2024 Gathering will be held in Victoria, BC and on the ancestral lands of the Lekwungen People during the 10th anniversary of Indigenous Disability Awareness Month (IDAM).

The Gathering brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous leadership, service providers, and communities to learn, share, and collaborate in addressing and dismantling the unique barriers Indigenous peoples with disabilities face. Together, we will help shape a Canada that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of all peoples and abilities.

Our last Gathering was a great success and we hope to see you at the 2024 Gathering!

*The 2024 Gathering is a scent free event and we ask for the safety and comfort of all participants that you do not wear colognes or perfumes. Additionally, for your safety and the safety of others we encourage you to wear a mask during the Gathering and that you do not attend if you are feeling ill or have been confirmed as having COVID. The 2022 event will be subject to all COVID restrictions, orders and mandates that might implemented by the Province of British Columbia and / or the Victoria Conference Centre.
